We delivered a solution to one of the UK’s leading product testing providers and can now offer this to other clients.

Our original client (a testing services provider) needed to offer to their clients more efficient material and product testing. They needed to be able to offer time and cost savings in the administration of the testing of an increasingly large number of products. While the volume of products to be tested went up, our client’s headcount remained the same as a result of using our solution.

We helped them to improve the workflow for product testing:

  • Each material (fabrics, trims, packaging, ticketing and labelling) was tested and results recorded

  • If a new product’s bill of materials (BOM) included those materials, the test results were recalled and reviewed

  • Only additional, previously unused materials needed then to be tested but existing materials didn’t need to be re-tested until the system warned our client that its test was nearing the date of expiry

Documents, “chats” and workflows were managed in the solution. It meant that each employee saw only what they needed to see, hiding the rest so that they could focus.
